Re: SGT has changed hands

Figures. I take a vacation and all hell breaks loose in my absence. Again. I am happy to see that there's a groundswell of sentiment to carry on with SGT. I thought it was a speed bump, but what do I know. And now that I'm no longer an admin here, perhaps I'll have time to finally write that book I...

Re: SGT has changed hands

Thanks for all you've done, ktulu, and Zazu, too. Here's hoping whatever is done with the site will bring a little life back into it. I'll be here!

Re: Message from new Owner

I, for one, welcome our new Uncle Walt's overlords.

Hope the plans, whatever, they are, can bring SGT back to life. I miss the Golden Age of SGT.

Cool--and in great condition, too! Wonder how much that would bring at auction?
Probably not very much. Used cakes tend to have very low resale values. :birthdaycake:
That, and the collectibles around it aren't still in the original packaging.

Re: Where Is Everybody?

So sorry to hear of your troubles there, felinefan. I'm still coming around here, but it's every few days now, and it seems more and more that there won't be any new posts even if several days have gone by. I still dream that this site will pick up steam again, but I fear the glory days of SGT are b...

Re: Wombat/VM in Orlando - July 2018

For whoever is still around -- got back from Orlando two weeks ago and I'm still smiling. The trip could not have gone better if I'd scripted it. (1) Vocal Majority won the world championship again on Friday, July 6 -- the group's 13th gold medal and my second. There's a lot I could say about the ex...

Re: Wombat/VM in Orlando - July 2018

UPDATE: The convention and contests are next week, and I have details for anyone in the Orlando area who might want to see any of the performances or just stop by and meet me at a rehearsal and hear VM for free. To witness some amazing performances (not free), click here for details on the various ...

First it was vog or volcanic smog. Now it's laze. Laze is formed when hot lava hits the ocean. The change in temperature creates hydrochloric acid and steam. Within the steam, fine glass particles may be dispersed through the air.
So it burns, eats away, and shreds your lungs. Lovely.

Re: Not Always Right -2

Did you guys see where the Maleficient dragon float caught fire during a parade? Thankfully, no one was hurt, but I didn't get what caused the fire. According to Uncle Walt's Insider, it was caused by Mount Kilauea erupting. Hobie, can you confirm? Hawaiian volcano eruption affects Disney par...
