Attractions that attract "attraction" (aka sex)

When I was a ride operator on carrousel/pan/toad sexual shenanigans were not particularly common even though there were no cameras on those dark rides, but I heard stories. A pretty well known one about a couple in the front of the monorail comes to mind.

Does anyone have any tales to tell?

My cousin Gina used to work PotC and said that the cast members of back then (10+ years ago) would stop the ride when they saw people "doing naughty things" and just watch and laugh, especially during the final lift. That's it for me, though!

Bwah! I have an old but excellent story (not mine but widely told when I worked at the park) about hijinks on "Inner Space." Back when the park still used tickets, these two guests jumped onto the ride and the girl started going down on the guy pretty much right away. The operators observed this and rather than use the PA to warn them, they kept the next two tickets they got and ran around to the exit of the attraction. When the couple exited the operator approached them handed them the tickets and said "here, you entertained us a lot more than we entertained you."

I've heard that story, but I heard it was Pirates. I wonder if it happened at both or if someone got confused and there's now two different versions of the same story?

So I was at Spalsh today... and well a ride stop was hit for some stupid kid standing, and as the stager went to pull them out we noticed a couple at drop 3 making out in a full log. It was highly intertaing.

Is your cousin Gina B? I remember her. We wouldn't stop the ride on purpose if people were screwing around inside... and you had sort of different reactions depending who was in the tower. If there was a guy in the tower and suddenly a crowd around him, you could bet someone was having sex inside the ride. On the other hand, some of us ladies would get embarrassed at having to witness because we were supposed to be watching the monitors from the tower position.

I can remember one couple in particular who happened to get stuck on the lift because the horseshoe was backed up and they took advantage of the situation. I mean - if you're an r.o. - think about it - you don't shut the ride down for a silly reason like that. The system shuts itself down because of a problem somewhere....

And yeah, some of the guests were more entertaining that others. I had a roommate and her date who got told to cool it inside Innerspace - and this was in the days before cameras - must have been someone working utility (those were the days). It was the make-out capital of the park - unfortunately, I was never brave enough to experience it. Having gone to a Catholic elementary school, I still live in mortal fear of "getting in trouble."

Don't have a sex story to tell but there was an attraction at RnRC with myself, in that I met my girlfriend and future wife there (We both worked there at the time. I'm still there but she is off doing entertainment now)

All I can say, is that there are cameras on the tomorrowland transit authority and we do watch them, and we have had security escort people out of the park after riding. Enough said.

Spaceship Earth = 15 minute slow ride in the (mostly) dark = you do the math.

The funny thing is, there's a video monitor right at the load platform, and everyone thinks that the camera is right there (though it's actually inside the ride), so when people get up to where the camera actually is, they've forgotten about it already. I've seen many "attractions" occurring in the ride vehicles looking back at that monitor.

The worst part about it though is when other guests see the monitor too...and they have small kids.....

I dated someone once and I took them to MK and they were all about riding TTA. They said it was their favorite ride to make out on and sometimes go a little further. I said I didn't want to lose my job. Then, I just starting laughing my butt off and asked did you not know there are cameras everywhere? They said but they took them all away there not on the platform...I replied the cameras are still there...but they didnt want the guests to see the show onstage anymore...We didnt talk rest of the night because they were so embarassed.

At Pirates we used to have a blank video tape and after a couple who was fooling around in the attraction disembarked we'd run down to the station from the Tower and yell, "thanks for the footage!"

I've also heard of cast members giving couples a few ProTowels for clean-up...

My trainer told me about telling people the ride is longer than it really is when they ask. Gives the person at unload a nice little show.

A buddy of mine used to work Pirates. He liked to tell the story of the teenage couple making out BIG TIME on a boat where they were all alone, but they didn't reckon on the security cameras. So Chris had all the available crew standing on the dock when this couple came back in - all tucked in and dressed and innocent looking - and had everyone give them a big, cheering ovation. The guy looked shocked and the girl turned purple and started crying.

I wonder how long it was before that guy got any more? :rolleyes:

i know that some of the attractions, if not all of them, have a PA system that can be heard throughout the attraction. whenever i hear a story such as these i wish i could get on the PA system and just say "I see you!" :D:

I'm sure i've told it here before, but i recall, a day when two ladies were reluctant to enter row 15 at btm, because they were "...trying to figure out if his hand was really up her skirt, and why she's fixing her skirt in such a manner..."
