So, I was setting up for the fireworks one night in front of the castle. I lay my blanket along the curb at the edge of the ramp. So this lady in an ECV comes up and gives me a dirty look and says that I am blocking a "Handicap ramp," even though she could get down into the street about 20 FEET ON THE OTHER SIDE OF ME!!!! I told her she could go around, but she refuses. As a result, she went around and her companion says something along the lines that I wouldn't be so lucky...................... next time. :twisted:

Oh no, someone might try and run me over in an ECV that I could 1) probably stop in its tracks and 2) dump it and the contents over onto the sidewalk.

Wow, I think people in the the electric scooters think they rule the park or something. They expect you to move out of their way just cause they have one..it's like, No....you wait for me sorry....

I think there should be a slower than slow speed. Slow to slower are the new speeds. That would teach them from trying to out run someone walking in the park.

I remember hearing in roll call, in vending, when you go out into the park, your cart should be on turtle speed unless turtle crawls at a very low speed. I keep it on rabbit and some times when rabbit is slow, take the advantage. But now these days, a new handle with Mickey's head was attached. The speeds are messed up and go faster than the old beverage carts. :eek:

Ha, I remember that...backstage I did rabbit, on stage turtle and yet you can still run people over, it was great...but turtle was ridiculously slow....it would take me forever to get to Pop 6 because of turtle...if it was like a 7 am shift I' use rabbit on stage...but those carts were soooo slow...
