So two days ago I'm working belts at Matterhorn and these people are totally unprepared, disorganized; just a complete mess. So I reach down to grab their seatbelts for them when the guy brings his arm down and elbows be right in the face, knocking my hat and my sunglasses off. I mean it was an accident but I was LIT! Pay attention man! He apologized but I was so mad I just told him to put his damn seatbelt on. I have a small bruise under my right eye but luckily it's so light that makeup just covers it up. Anyone have any stories about being hit?

Two years ago on Christmas Eve I nearly had my shin broken by a large guest who reached into the basket of her ECV as I was standing right in front of it and her, um, belly hit the throttle and started it moving forward. It came to a stop with the tire on my foot. No big deal, I'm used to that, but a few inches more and the bumper would have taken out my shin.
Two weeks ago same thing happened only this time it was the guest's own stupidity that nearly took out my leg. I asked her to park the ECV on the far side by the planter as we always do and instead of backing up she started moving forward towards me. Came to a stop inches from my foot and instead of backing up what does she do? She went forward again! This time the wheel landed on my foot and the fender barely tapped my leg. Again, a couple inches more and bye bye leg.

Back in the mid 90s, one night, around 7pm, I think, my dad and I went to eat at one of the restuarants that was, I think near/around/in Adventureland (?), and this guy was just standing in line, barefooted and smoking right in the line...a cm working a register told him that there was no smoking allowed in the resturant and that he had to wear shoes...the guy just looked at him and ignored him, and the cm repeated two more times as I recall, and the guest got so mad, that he gave him what looked like a bitch slap, and just walked off...

Space Mountain, Christmas Eve, 1999. I was at load 2, at the back of the rocket, and I got bumped to load 1, at the front of the rocket. I moved up the station just as the rocket was being adanced. I felt a hard slap on my bum, and looked at the girl I was about to bump, and I said, "The guy in row 6 just hit my butt." Mind you, I don't have the most attractive butt.
Well, the guy at the console saw it, and told the guy at bars to pull the rocket off into the blue room at dispatch, and to not let the guy in row six out. This guy knew exactly what he had done, because the bars CM didn't sya anything, and this guy was screaming and yealling and say the rudest things. Security was brought out, and the guy then proceded to scream at secruity and all of the managers that showed. I chose to press charges because the guy was such as jerk, to say the absolute least, and he got a police record for Christmas.
The worst part? He hit me so hard, it left finger marks on my butt, and the Disney nurse had to look at it to document it!

been there, done that - both accidental (every imaginable part of my anatomy) and on purpose...
In Fantasyland, we had put up the cutoff rope for the Goofy parade, which had already stepped off from Main St. Anyone who was around back then might remember how big and heavy those floats were...anyhoo...we're sending people to the Castle to get to Main St., but this woman with a stroller ducks under the rope and heads up Matterhorn way, and I could hear the music. I ran up behind her, grabbed the stroller handles turned it around and got it back under the rope, basically shouting "you're going to get run over!" At this point a guy I assume was with her comes up, hauls off and punches me in the stomach telling me I should be nicer :!: :?: And a security guard was right there and did absolutely nothing.
I got punched hard in the face over at Mansion, like 10 minutes before my walk time at load 2. The guy stood up in the omnimover says "hey, b*tch" and hit me with a fist. I stopped the ride and he went pale. To make a long story short I pressed charges after security tried to pressure me out of dropping the whole matter... what a bunch of jerks...

When I was in parades the bunch of us were walking out on out queue from behind Lost Childrens. The park was insanely busy that day and right where we had to walk there was this HUGE french tour group. I was Grumpy that night and I guess they all really thought that I was this tough guy 'cause one of them hit me in the head and another punched me right in the stomach. Grumpy didn't have a lot of padding so it hurt like a b*tch. I did the show but ended up with the biggest headache and couldn't do the last 2 shows.

I've been hit a couple times... the most recent was a couple months ago, I got sent out to help with the parade... everything was going fine, til one idiot kept insisting that he could dodge the floats and that I had no right to keep him from crossing... I told him another way to get to where he wanted to go, or said if he waited about 2 minutes I'd be able to let him cross then. Of course neither was acceptable to him, so he decides that shoving me so hard I fall to the ground would be better.

I was walking downstairs from the Wheelhouse on the Mark Twain as the ship was nearing the dock. All of a sudden this little 8 year old girl comes around the corner and slams HEADFIRST INTO MY NUTS. She hit me with such speed that I ended up falling backwards, as did she and in an effort to avoid crushing her, I turned my body so she would land on top of me. The next thing you know, the father is lifting me with both hands around my neck CHOKING ME. he wouldn't let go and was screaming about how I almost killed his daughter and should be more careful. Nevermind the fact that his daughter is yelling that she ran into ME. I literally started to black out so I did the only thing I could do...I KICKED HIM IN THE BALLS. He let go, I ran downstairs and had the lead call security. They also did the whole "don't push charges" spiel on me so I didn't.
I am HORRIFIED by the number of CM's who have been hit or abused by guests. I am even further HORRIFIED by the fact that security in every case attempts to persuade us not to do anything about it.
If you are ever attacked by a guest, PRESS CHARGES! Do it for the rest of us who never did!

I'm sure the official answer from management would be no, but seriously, do you suppose that if one were to press charges it would count against them in the future? Maybe make the difference when they're looking at who to make lead, etc?

I made lead and went to UNiversity about six months after the Space incident. I don't think it has any bearing IF they agree that it is justified.

If you are a victim of a crime, there is no way in hell ANYONE can coerce you into not pressing charges. If Disney were to hold that against you and you could prove it, you would be a millionaire.
The only reasons Disney doesn't want you to press charges are:
a. they don't want the bad publicity
b. they don't want the crime statistics
c. they don't want to deal with it, it's easier for them if you just bend over and take it like a good little worker. F THAT.

But the key word there is PROVE... things like that can get fairly difficult to prove, especially with how skilled management is at making up lies.

Exactly. Promotions are very subjective. Just because it says you once pressed criminal charges in your record, and they don't promote you, doesn't mean that if you were to fight it they couldn't tell any official (a court included) that you simply "did not meet the criteria they were looking for at that time" or something to that effect. Or they could use another minor blotch on your record, say a few tardies, and use that as their "reason".

ive been hit a few times but today i was at belts on b side and i was holding the belt to hand it over to a guest and the sled stopped a little ways in front of where i was standing causing the belt to act as a whip and whack the guest's shoulder. i appologized after she looked at me funny, and she forgave me and everyone was happy again. lucky me i guess.

it was last christmas when i was standing at the wheelchair ramp out side "the old" city hall, pulsing the line inside. as with every busy day, lots of rides were 101 and people were fuming. the next guest in line started talking to me which turned into a complaint about everything and i was stupid enought to try and calm him down and try to reason with him. he just started demanding a refund and getting other guests in line to join into his bitching. he demanded an answer about everything. i finaly told him he should stop talking and save his breath because we are going around in circles here. i was polite and very disney about it but he came closer and as he swung at me to put his entire handprint on my face he screamed "noone gets to talk to me like that exept my father, b*tch!". as i was collecting myself i told him he has 30 seconds to run for the exit because that's how long it takes to call the police and have him arrested for assult. and so he did...
i had another incident happen when disneyana convention was with us. i was at my little dca info station when a band of ecv bound pintaders crowded around my station, making it dark inside in the middle of the day, long story short...they demanded a pin that was accidentaly releised and pulled, minutes later. i could not comply so this man got out of his ecv, grabbbed me by the collar over the counter , pulled my closer and breathed in me face "if you dont get us the $%& pin, it's gonna cost you your job b*tch!"
i too wanted to press charges but they bullied me out of that. a few days later i found out that the crowd got an official appology from the resort for the misunderstanding about the pin and a voucher for 5 free pins including the one they wanted...i love disney!

I heard about that pin incident. I was really ticked that despite the throngs of people that were irrationaly threatening any CM within spitting distance, that the company bent over backwords to give them free stuff. Pin trading is a privledge, not a right. It'd be like if they started letting random guests ride Tower today and some people got pissed that they wern't lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. They wouldn't give the complainers a night of having DCA all to themselves, they would be told to come back on May 5th. So they had to wait a while longer for the pins...big deal.
They should be really glad that I'm not in charge of the pin trading. Because if I were, those guests would have been invited to a private meeting in one of the Hotel ballrooms, and once everybody was seated inside those pins would have been melted into oblivion in front of their very eyes.

But then they have to maintain that lie. When I was a shop steward I was always able to have managment mess up with their lies. Sometimes it's important to get details whenever possible.

Well I have a couple of stories about CM's being hit...
The first story takes place my first summer at the park in '97 during guest control for Fantasmic. I was working "the pit" infront of pirates where it gets pretty hectic hence the name. I politely asked this guy to move through the walkway and he replied, "make me." So I gestured him to get under the rope into the viewing area and he refused. So I got my lead. The lead told the guy the same thing and the guy snapped...threw a sucker punch that the lead was totally ready for, got the guy in a hammerlock and proceeded to floor the guy face first onto the ground. It was great! The lead had this guy by the arm and his hair and shoved his face into the pavement. The lead then proceeded to taunt him by saying "See, now you look like an asshole and a pussy infront of your girlfriend!" Ahh the good old days!
Well, for my stories...I was once up at foyer at the mansion where this punk kid around my age(i was only a punk kid outside work) hocks this huge lugie and spits it right at my feet.
I asked if he had a problem and he told me that I was his problem and got in my face. So I thought nothing of it and decked him right in the nose infront of a full queue of people. My hand hurt so bad! He and his friend bolted...and people asked if it was a joke. I ER'd so I could ice my hand. I told the lead that my hand got slammed in the hallway door to tower.
Man, come to think of it...i have alot of stories of CM's hitting guest...ie the one time i hit a guest in the face with a paddle(on accident of course!)....or the time one of my good friends hit a ride stop on mansion because he saw a guy hitting his girlfriend...and proceeded to go to the graveyard and knock out two of his teeth. ...the best part was he got suspended for leaving tower...and not assaulting a guest. many more to come...

I HATE MEAN GUESTS! I was helping out at DCA turnstyles on day because they were busy at the opening. I was workign with two other leads and we were running around trying to suck the lines in. Then out of nowhere i hear this scram and see one of my other leads go to the ground and a FREAKIN ANNUAL PASSHOLE taking off into DTD with her RADIO AND ID. What a b**ch. Myself and one other lead chased her through DTD all the way to the parking lot behind Rainforrest before APD showed up because our security could not physicly stop her. Turns out she slapped the other lead for revoking her annual pass for misuse.
Another time i working in a ticket booth and a guy got mad that we didn't offer a disocunt for AAA, or plice or whatever the heck it was. And hit my window like 3 times. Then security rolled out and took him away. Scared the crap out of me since the window is just glass. Not even bulletproof!!!

LOL...that's priceless. Even if she were able to out run everybody, all her personal info would have been pulled up in the AP database and handed over to APD anyway. I can just imagine her shock when she would have pulled up to her house to see the cops waiting for her.

LOL...I got some good stories. It was around Christmas time a few years back when we used to have Package Express at the resort. I was the lead at Newsstand and the fireworks had just ended. Naturally we had a HUGE line and if my memory serves me correct we actually had stanchions and ropes set up for a queue. This guest walks up and hands us a slip for his packages and we tell him to move to the side it'll be just a few minutes. Not even three minutes later the guest becomes irrate and demands to talk to me because he had been waiting too long. I calmly told him with the large volume of guests we were getting right now its going to take a little longer than usual. I dont think the guest was too happy with this response. At about the same time both managers walked in to check up on us and right when they walked up the guest threatened to "kill me" if I didn't get his package right now. Well, my eyes got big becuase I couldnt believe what this guy had just said...plus he must have been very brave since I towered over him. He was like 5'6" and I'm 6'2". I was literally waiting for him to jump the counter so I can tackle him to the ground but my managers stepped in and offered to complimentary ship his packages to his home. That made me so irrate!! Not only did the guy get free shipping but he also got a bunch of free stuff from the Newsstand plus we returned all of his money from his purchases that day! Oh well, anything to make the guests happy huh? Thats the Disney way!

Hm. Hit by a guest?
I find this one funny. When I used to work over at the Outpost at the Studios, I wore my Indiana Fedora and carried the pistol we sold on my belt. Well. I had this one apparent "Nut of Indiana Jones Fan" come in a start complaining about the show and how some of the scenes were done and griped about how they were done in the movie (Even then he was totally wrong) and about a few other things. I corrected him on every detail (Because I had that kind of time on my hands). Well he got pissed an swung at me (Can we say anger issues). Well, I simply ducked, came back up and at the same time pulled the pistol out (Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I removed that orange cap on the tip). Yeah needless to say he ran out the door.
In a reverse situation
Recently over at Fantasmic! (Our ultra kick ass version ) a guest got pissed because he had the dinner package and he had to stand (Because management and their infinate wisdom at the resturants over booked...we can hold about 1150 comfortably). Well he got pissed and started yelling at my friend on the raido about it (At this point, the dinner package had gone to hell for a seven day vacation). Well my friend got a little hotheaded and got into a fight with the guest. Not exactly sure what all went on but that's what I got.
and here i was thinkin i had it bad... the other day i was unloading guests at new orleans station, and at new orleansa it's front conductor's job to arrange seating for ADA (wheelchair) geusts, so i go throught the whole walk on or ramp it speal, no ramp at main street blah blah blah.. so i start walking the group up the exit ramp, some 7 year old kid, not watching, comes tearing down the ramp and head first into my stomach :!: . At this time, i'm thinking, crap some guy punched me, and i'm reaching for the orange button, but instead wind up saying, whoa, there watch it there little guy followed by a umpf kinda groan, and then, please don't run in the park. and all his friggin mom says, is watch where ur going honey, while i'm haunched over the rail with and ecv chomping at the bit to get on, right at my heels. Luckily i've been in a few mosh pits, and been pretty well banged up in my lifetime, and i was able to recover quickly, but for a moment i thought i was going to have to call in a bump, and make a CFA run. friggin kid, i shoulda code v'ed all over him! :D

Like 2 months ago, i was working parade :x and we were told to let the guest know that they shouldn't have there strollers up so that the guest behind them can be able to see, well anyhoo.....I asked this lady several times to put her stroller down, she didnt. after about the 4th time, she got really pissed and said, "look Bitch if you want my stroller to be put down , do it your self!" and well she through the stroller at me hitting me in the legs  . Security came and took her and her 9 kids away, and yes they insisted that i wouldn't press charges.......I now regret not doing so!!! [/i]

Always press charges for even the smallest things to show the guests that we are people too and they can't treat us like trash. Don't let management pressure you out of it. Its your discision and yours alone.
One of my fellow conductors got wailed on by a guest at toontown depot the other day, had to go to CFA, i don't know if he pressed charges, probly not, because i think he told me that he pushed the guy. Well whatever came/comes of it, the geust became a not guest.

Actually, one CM with a paddle almost hit me on purpose, got bout 3 inches from my face with it, but he was only joking around. Altho I dare he would have loved to have actually hit me. :P
I've never been slapped or punched, but once, when I was moving strollers in from of small world, this guy comes up to me and started screaming that someone moved his stroller. Me and a couple other CMs were telling him why we moved strollers, but he didn't want to hear it. He grabbed a nearby rental stroller (a double one), and just heaved it at me. I was only a couple feet away from him, so it hit me hard in the ankle and I fell over. I had a huge bruise for days. Luckily, there were the other CMs around, and one kept talking to the guy, just to try to keep him there, while the other called our manager and security. One of our good managers was there that night, and he came running. Then security got there, and they took the guy out of the park.

So yesterday I was working Gangster when this one guest threatenes to hit me. He was pissed off when I told him that he had to knock off the flash photography and I pretty much said it like that also. Now I don't know about anybody here, but would it make sence to threaten any physical harm on a person when they are armed with a pistol. Now I know that we only use blanks, but they are real firearms. If I use a sabot I can put a .225 caliber cartrage and shoot that out of the barrel and it would be just as accurate. I want to know what some people are thinking.

I was working at Alice unload a few weeks back when this insanely rude lady walks in the exit holding a pink poodle wearing a pearl necklace and insisting that she wants to ride..after going around and around with her explaining as nicely as I could that the dog couldn't ride, she takes her guidebook for guests with disabilities out and comes at me with it waving it in my face...I asked her twice to step back before I threatened to call security and then she hit me in the face with the damn book and I wanted to strangle her!

Really? At WDW we're told that companion animals can ride anything that doesn't have a height requirement. We take dogs (and the occasional monkey) on the train all the time.

Oh my god I hate the pink poodle lady. She thinks of her dog as her child and doesn't realize that the poor thing can't go on every ride. The biggest problem is that unless city hall writes it in the guests with disabilities book people with service animals don't know they can't go on dark rides because for some reason they weren't included in the updated book. But the Poodle lady just pissed everyone in fantasyland off on her last visit. Plus I just feel bad for her poor poodle, first off obviously pink is not a natural fur color, and then to have to deal with a crazy owner. :( poor thing :(

Could be worse. We have to deal with "Towel Baby Lady".
She's more than a little bit http://figzu.com/smilies/notallthere.gif, and thinks a rolled up towel is her baby.
Once a CM tried to play along and said, "Ooo, what a cute baby!"
"It's a towel, you moron!" she replied, then got on the train, telling her baby not to pay any attention to the nasty woman....

Yeah they can't go one rides with height requirments but they also can't go on dark rides because we have to be able to see the animal at all times and because we only have selected cameras in these rides they just aren't allowed.

Gee, sounds nice. We have dogs on our train all the time, almost never are they in view of the conductor. I keep wondering when one of them will decide they have to jump off to protect their person from the animatronic rattlesnakes.

I dunno that's the reason they give us at classics for all 5 of our dark rides and our round rides they are only allowed on our round rides if they stay laying down during the whole ride. They stand up we e-stop it's fun stuff especially on Dumbo.

They're allowed on Roger Rabbit (which is just mean, I mean the ride spins) unless they've changed it real recently. Granted I haven't been in Toontown much or at work for that matter.

Anyone at WDW. COLDFIRE PUT THE GUN DOWN.
Mark my words run when you see the person who has a mini pony. Im not joking. This person walked into Fantasmic with a freakin pon...
COLDFIRE! PUT IT DOWN (Look, I wanted to shoot the person myself but just put the damn thing down).
If you want to shoot someone, shoot the person who brings in the parrot or iguana
I was recently hit by a guest. He was big, fat, ugly as hell, dropped a lot of rain, pissed a lot of people off and his name was Jeanne.
What happened was is that when you lose power, you can only stare at your ceiling for so long. So I went outside to look around (It was that or shove a pencil in my ear to entertain myself) and a nice limb came over to visit my leg. Bruised a little bit. Thanks Jeanne you little....

When I worked Star Tours a few years ago I had this idiot honk the evc horn
and take a run at me when he didn't like the idea of going back through the
store and up the exit ramp.
I guess he expected me to jump back and out of the way. SURPRISE! He hit
my steel-toed boot and nearly went flying off the damned thing. It was one
of those Kodak moments to say the least.
Then I went "Mr. Rogers" on him. This totally pisses them off! "Now, this
is not the exit, sir. I know you can find it over there if you try."

Heh. That so totally works, too. My mom always said when dealing with obnoxious people -- whether professionals or the general public -- you just need to talk to them as if they are two years old. And half the time they don't even realize what you're doing! :p:

Last May, I and another train conductor on Calico Railroad (KBF), were sending the train back to the roundhouse for the night after the park closed, and as we were crossing out the gates to let the last guests through, I looked back at the depot and saw some people leaning against the bullpen fence. I went over to investigate, and it's a couple of 20-something guys and a 40-something woman standing there. I asked what were they doing there, and one of the guys said they were waiting for a ride. I said the park's closed, the train is closed, they can't ride. Well, the woman took offense, and I, wishing to avoid a conflict, turned and walked away, but she jumped the 3' fence and came after me, trying to get my name from my tag, saying she was going to get me fired. Then she grabs my right wrist and pulls, taking us both to the ground, and I grab her above the eyes to subdue her. Anyway, my co-worker sees what's going on, and just then the two guys jump the fence and are grabbing me, trying to pin me down, and I'm debating whether to kick them where it counts when my co-worker came running up and yelled at them to get lost--and she's a petite blonde. I suffered a strained right wrist, the woman had a few scratches and a scraped elbow. Anyway, as we are heading towards the Ticket Shack at the Calico Mine Ride, they followed us, making threats. The one guy says, "I'm gonna become a deputy sheriff, this'll be good training for me!" and starts yelling for help. The interesting thing is, at that time there was a news report about widespread corruption in the Sheriff's Department, and I thought, yeah, guy, perfect for you, going around falsely accusing people for things you started. Anyway, my co-worker and I got ahold of our shift leader, who called security, as well as BPPD. Bottom line, I pressed charges, and unlike at Disney, they told me to PLEASE press charges, and have them arrested--and I did. I went to First Aid, my mom who was waiting for me in the parking lot was brought in, and the cops said that they got those jerks to admit that they had done that on purpose--I guess they were too lazy to work at an honest job for a living, and decided that scamming theme parks was better than being a wage slave. I was still on the train, but I was guest greeting and sweeping up around the depot for 6 weeks. Good thing that as a kid growing up in the 60s my siblings and I made games of pretending that we couldn't write or do things with our dominant hands, so we did things left-handed, with one hand, walk on one leg, etc.. Actually, it was good entertainment when T.V., listening to records, and playing games got old. We knew how to use our imaginations then. I've tried to contact the detective on my case, but haven't been able to get ahold of him so far. But that woman and her two goons are permanently banned from the park. Yes, I got workman's comp. But if you want to hear about people at KBF who get hit alot by guests, ask our Train Bandits! Especially in the summer!

Been there. NOT fun . Your guy sounds like blonde Mike from D L. He has always talked abt becoming an OC Sheriff or APD. Mostly APD because he wants to "sit on Katella & ticket as many CMs as possible."Go figure! He'd more than fit corrupt . He was ODV a few yrs before "someone" :D: forced him to quite. Saw him @ The Inn Between Nov. 5th as we starred each other down. Didn't recognize his dept. Told him to "get a life" or I'd call under cover. He seemed to be in quite a hurry after this. Was funny ;)

I got pushed today by a guest. She pushed me in the back. Keep in mind we were at the parade crossing. As soon as the cm said "Okay, start crossing" I started walking briskly. A second after I started walking, I feel a hand pushing against my back. I turned around and saw two teenage girls behind me. I told them "please don't push me." I then muttered "bitch" loud enough for them to hear me. I'm not sure if they heard me or not. I don't really care.
I don't know how others would view this, but I don't feel sorry for saying what I said at all. My mother (a preschool teacher) taught me to keep my hands to myself. It's one thing to accidentally bump into someone. That's totally understandable. It's something else entirely to physically hurt someone or push them around. No one deserves to put up with that!
I don't care if you are a crackwhore or a minister of a church. No one pushes me around! I don't take that shit from anyone.
I hope all cast members stand up for themselves. I'm not advocating kicking the crap out of someone, but I don't think there's anything wrong with telling a pushy guest to keep their filthy hands to themselves.
Thoughts?

You know, I don't think there is one person on this board who would disagree with you in that situation. :D:

Standing up for yourself = good. Swearing at guest on purpose = grounds for termination if they had complained and had witnesses. I totally understand where you're coming from, but be careful.

I have learned to just say "excuse me" in a harsh tone, or just say "rude". I think it's a tomorrowland thing, but it gets the point accross. I save my language for the break room, which all of my co-workers can testify, I can swear like a sailor when i'm angry. Really though, I'm an angel!

While at Toontown Depot, a fairly large man with his daughter (I'm assuming) on his shoulders came walking up the front exit walkway. Now, a lot of people do this because it's the first gate you walk by when approaching the station, but I always send them back. The exit gate has a sign on it that reads "EXIT ONLY. DO NOT ENTER." There are arrows pointing away from the gate and the word EXIT written on the floor. Needless to say, I don't feel the least bit of sympathy when I send a guest back out to go through the entrance. Anyway, this guy comes walking up the exit, and without hesitation, I told him he was coming through the exit and had to go back through the main entrance. He starts whining and complaining and says that there aren't any guests in line anyway and to just let him in. I looked, and there were no guests in line, but he had already pissed me off with his bitching and inability to read signs. So I told him "I'm sorry, you still need to go back and come through the main entrance." He got pissy and began to storm out of the exit, but not before he elbowed me in the chest and said, "Oops." As he walked away, I just told him "Hey sir, would you like me to call Security and have them escort you out of the park for physically assaulting me?" He just ignored me and walked away. The sad part of this story is that he had his daughter up on his shoulders the entire time.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not an asshole to the guests. If I know I can clear the station, or there's nobody in line, I'll let guests in through the exit. But the second they start to give me attitude or whine and complain, I direct them to the entrance, close the gates, give my "All Aboard," and tell them "there will be another train here in about 5 minutes" as we leave the station.
Moral of the story: You piss me off, you walk (or wait for the next train).

I'm with you. I'm more than happy to bend certain rules for a guest to make them happy, as long as it's fair to the other guests. But the second they give me attitude or pull some stupid line like "the customer is always right," I just plain put my foot down and tell them no.
