Thanks to tourbunny and her great idea I thought to myself; "Self... Why not start a new topic and have people share what crazy things they would like to do on their last day." (I often sound like a nerd when talking to myself.)
Me? It depends on what attraction I'm working. Here's a small list:
*Matterhorn- We have something in the tower called the 'Chuck's Bell.' To let everyone know that we're 101 we give a long ring of the bell and stick our hands out the window and give a thumbs down sign. On my last day I would like to give a long ring of the Chuck's Bell and give a middle finger up sign.
*Mansion- During operation go into the ballroom with all the animation and pretend I'm a guest at the deathday party.
*Pirates- Dress up like a wench and be sold. "We wants the blond!"
*Star Tours- Ride the Starspeeder standing up. (Not very inventive but still fun.
*Rocket Rods (if it was still there)- Ride it topless!
*Space- There are so many things! I think the best would be to leave dispatch in the front row and come back in the last row!
You know how it is.

.
Why wait till your last day. Its fun to do it anyday! :D At the table jump up when the lights come on, with your arm around the little boy on the mantle, or just peaking your head out from behind the curtains at the top of the stairs or from inside the cabnit at the back of the seance circle(great place to shot sit wards on grad nights)!!!
Oh and I'd take the blond too!
On the WDW Railroad, it's traditional for engineers on their last day to take the train around on it's last trip -- the "deadhead," without passengers -- and see just how fast it can go.
While the speed limit on the RR is only 12 mph, some have gotten the trains up as fast as 30 mph on the long straight backstreatch. I think that if the track were in better shape (and a bit longer) we could probably get the locos to do about 45!
Then there was the engineer who got a transfer to Epcot Entertainment where she would be a lighting tech for the AG Theater. It was a big step up in prestige, salary, and regular hours. She was bound and determined to make her speed run.
Unfortunately, they neglected to schedule her for the "deadhead" trip on her last day. Her last trip around was with a trainload of passengers. Failing to permit this detail to dissuade her, she opened up the throttle and blasted down the backstreatch while ignoring her conductor's emergency stop signal.
She only made it up to about 17 mph.
And as her manager said as she checked out that night, "Too bad, you would have really been good at that Epcot job."
"Oh, I will."
"No, I don't think so. It's hard to do well when you've just been fired for endangering guests."
Oh, should I move this to the Stupid Cast Tricks thread?

Last day fun is always the best. . . If I ever worked at speedway I would open up the toontown gate and take a car out off the track. Take it through the park a few times. At the movie ride I would switch the cable that holds the tractor and the trailor togher and let the back half of the car hit all the walls.

I didn't do anything on my last day (I was on Monorails); though I think people were expecting me to do something big.
(I'm known for having a wild sense of humor at work.)
When my last shift came to an end, there was not a supervisor or lead in sight.
I think no one wanted to be a witness to whatever I had planned.
Years earlier, we had a guy on his last day (on Subs) sneak into the caverns, climb atop a sub, rip his shirt off and ride through the exit falls.
The lead got his lead status taken away.
Like the lead could have stopped it...
If I quit while in my 20s rather than in my 30s, perhaps I would have done something - but like someone said earlier, I've done quite a few things during the regular work week...
Aside from being in my 30s, and a bit more sedate, I was also up to my neck in work (for my new business) during those final two weeks, giving me little time to think of other things...

I always wanted to break into audio central and play Marylin Manson throughout the parks. "Kill your god. Kill your TV!" Of course I was fired before I knew it.

I dunno if this is a parking lot thing.. but on our last day.. if we have been with the dept. long enough to know most everyone.. it's time for a good old fashioned drenching. Water balloons/water bottles/buckets/etc everywhere. :!:

Oh, I see what you mean.....I remember my last day.....I abruptly resigned back in 2002 after my shift ended to avoid termination since being termed was immiment..exceeded the reprimand threshold in a year due to tardiness..although I still love Disney culture, I definitely had no love for the Disney corporates when I left, and still don't.

Being on the college program back in the early 90's, I had several "last days" when I went back to school after the summer. The two most memorable were when I was on Rafts and Keel Boats. On Keel Boats we took a dead head back to the far side of the island to park by Uncle Jed's cabin. I did a cannonball off the top of the keel boat. I went all the way to the bottom. On Rafts I had everyone wanting to push me in all day. Eventually I was pushed in by a blonde CM I had only spoken to a few times all summer. We've now been married 11 years and have three awesome kids. Thanks Disneyland! :pbjtime:

1. "Lockers? What are you talking about? What are those?"
2. "Thank you for calling the Disneyland Resort. If you want ticket information press 1. If you want park hours press 2. If you are an AP press 666. And if you are calling to complain, hang up and it will be processed automatically. For all other requests, please call 407-WDISNEY."
3. (Answer the phone doing my Mickey voice.) "Thank you for calling the Disneyland Resort. This is Mickey Mouse. How may I help you?" (Incoherent Donald voice ranting and raving) Mickey - "Donald, shut up or I'm gonna take care of you. Here Goofy..." (Goofy voice) "Gawrsh! Uh, how may I help you?" (Random Mickey and Donald screams) Goofy - "Uh oh. I better go. Buhbye."
4. On a clear, beautiful weekend day in early December, take out to the front of park the preprepared sign that reads "Due to inclement weather, tonight's showing of CandleLight has been canceled." Just to cause chaos.
5. Go into the computer system and void out every one of the 500,000 AP's just to cause chaos.
6. Show up to my last day and say "I'm sorry, I must have lost my D-pin within the last 15 hours."

So It's been a long time... Let's see here... Last day at what location:
Columbia: I'd climb the Mainmast with a huge box of cupcakes, sit on the crosstree and throw the cupcakes at unexpected guests down below.
Mark Twain: Blow the whistle all around the river... not that exciting, but fun!
Canoes: Figure out a way to attach the canoe to the back of the columbia and have them tote us around.
Mansion: Take the air horn from the boats and fire it inside teh graveyard
Space: Ride a rocket with my head in the floorboard and feet in the air
Monorail: Not to exciting... throw things from car 5... water balloons
Jungle: Dance naked with the natives, and then tell everyone to get the F out of my boat..
Tiki: Wear a bird suit and run around singing with the birds
Thunder: hm........ what would I do here... Ride in the locomotive.

My last day will be coming up soon...I'm just waiting to get another job first before I put in my two weeks notice. :(
I'm in stores, so I don't know what what be so fun to do...I'll probably do nothing, but it'd be nice to give cranky or rude guests the COMPLETELY wrong directions to places and to tell the rude guests what I think of their rudeness. I'd like to do something with that repetitive dvd they play in Pioneer....like, put some other video up there or something....ah, I dunno.
I once worked at a video store and the owners were just complete idiots...so on my last day, I did what I always said I'd do....I put on the wackiest porno I could find...it was broadcast all over each tv screen we had up....Midget Sex in Hawaii....oh yes it was. I only did it because there were no kids around at that time of day...if there'd been children around, it wouldn't have worked, I wouldn't have done it. People were so completely shocked...the looks on the men's faces were lovely though

My last day was fairly uneventful. I had had the previous 6 days off, so they didn't even expect me to show. They scheduled an extra, so I spent the day wandering the Park saying goodbye to everybody.
I did, however, post my letter around the Park. If you haven't heard of it, I wrote a general letter to the Company expressing my disgust in the direction of the Park. I made 30 copies (on Company letterhead, using a Company copy machine, of course) and posted them in breakrooms around the Park.
I only heard negative reactions from two people, and one of them was the inspiration behind the letter to begin with.
I'll see if I can find a copy, if anyone's interested.

idk... I haven't really been able to think of anything good. Will prolly just bring in a water gun to squirt all the stupid guests. Not all that great, but fun! hmm... I wonder if water guns will work if you fill them with whipped cream *goes off to experiment*

hehe... the ONLY good thing (ok, I can name a COUPLE more... but not many) about getting shifts in ODV is when you get to sell those mister fans... so fun to squirt unsuspecting guests.

I heard once some woman got so morbidly offended when an ODV CM sprayed her son with a mister fan that she came back and dumped a cup of ice on the guy.

Yikes, I've never had that happen. Just guests yelling at me for getting them wet (when the were drowning in sweat... at least my water was cool and for the most part clean) or I've been attacked by little kids with hidden squeeze breezes :)

haha, the little kids that do that are the best. It's always fun to have a little "water fight" with the kids... especially in the middle of summer.

Canoes is the best place to have a water fight. We had the benefit of a wardrobe change. The guests had to wear that crap all day.

Before I leave, I want to:
- See the half court in the Matterhorn.
- go up inside the castle where the fireworks are shot off from.
- See "Bucky", the Fantasmic! dragon.
- Drive an Autopia car around Disneyland park.
- See Fantasmic! from the balconey and the island.
- Go up into Walt's apartment.

Not quite the same as the thread discussion but during my last day at my last company ever, I handed out $10 lunch vouchers to all the people in manufacturing. Probably about eighty vouchers. I told them to use them fast because once accounting figured out what was going on they'd pull the plug.

I got kicked out my last day, though to be completely honest I'd been planning to quit eventually anyway--I was looking for another job, but doubt that had anything to do with it. But if I had the chance to do whatever I wanted on my last day, I would've taken all the managers, shift leaders, co-workers and guests that had pissed me off (there were alot of them, believe me!) and tied them to the tracks of either Ghostrider, Montezooma's Revenge, Jaguar! or Silver Bullet, figured out how to operate them (I tend to be good at that) and just reduce those suckers to mush!!!! I wouldn't use the tracks on the Grand Sierra Scenic Railroad (not enough power), or the Calico Railroad (they ain't makin' those anymore--this is a part of American history that has to be preserved, you know!). Yeah--put 'em on the rides that are losers like them! Wouldn't let them get run over by the Stagecoach either--that would be cruel to the horses.

Not exactly extravagent or anything but what'd I'd do is...
For every person that asks how much anything that CLEARLY has the bloody price on it is (i.e. how much is this ($6.50 Autograph Book) I want to say some ridiculous price and be really non-chalant about it, like "$50.00"
Or when someone is in Tomorrowland and they want to go all the way to Critter Country, give them some really complex and totally wrong directions.
Basically I want to be a total bitch to the people who ask me the same questions I hear 42,000 times a day.
