As promised, Cujo and I have put our heads together and came up with
some business cards and magnets for you, our users to use to spread
the word of StupidGuestTricks.com to your fellow theme park employees
(past or present) or to other theme park enthusiasts who will enjoy what
we have to offer.

As a gift to all of you, for your support of StupidGuestTricks.com, we are
offering a limited supply of cards and magnets free to all users who have
a registered account with us as of the time of this posting.

Each user will receive 20 cards and 5 magnets, identical to the image
above. All you have to do to receive your free gifts is to email
Polar33@stupidguesttricks.com with the following information:

Your user name
The email address you used when registering
Your mailing address

Then all you have to do is sit back and wait until your cards arrive.

If you are worried about privacy, we will not be saving any addresses or
using them for any other purpose. Once your letter is mailed, your
address will be deleted from the email account and any other records will
be deleted as well.

Once again, thank you for being a part of the success of
StupidGuestTricks.com. We truly appreciate every one of you and we
hope that you will use these cards however you see fit to help spread the
word of our community. If there are any questions, please feel free to
ask here, or PM me, and I will be glad to do what I can to help.

hey, I got my stuff in the mail...if cards and magnets begin appearing
around campus at Cal State Long Beach, well, you might guess where
they came from

I'm glad to hear that the cards have started to arrive. I was worried that
some may get lost in the system due to magnets having a tendency to
stick to metal things, such as post office equipment. If anyone who
placed a request in the first week doesn’t get their cards, please let me
know and I'll re-send. Thankfully I have now figured out how to package
them better.

For those who have yet to get their cards, there are still plenty available.
Just follow the instructions in the first post and your free cards will be
sent out right away. You may also want to include a name with that
address. Otherwise I'll put your user name on it and you may start
getting strange looks from your postal worker. :)

Hey, just out of curiosity, where'd you get this stuff printed?

I ordered everything from VistaPrint (http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/default.aspx).

They have very good prices and offer quite a selection of products, plus I
am very impressed with how the cards and magnets came out.

Just wondering, how long do they take to mail? (do the magnents affect times?)

From what I can tell, I don't think that the magnets or the weight is
slowing down the delivery much. So it should only take about as long as
a regular letter would.

The only thing that slows down the delivery process is that I am sending
all of them from the Post Office for fear of them getting stuck in a (metal)
drop box. Therefore, I am making special trips to the Post Office once or
twice a week, depending on how many I have to send, so it may be a
few days before it even hits the postal system.

I don't think the magnets should be an issue, really. I'm fairly sure they're not strong enough to support the weight of the envelope. Besides, inside those metal drop boxes is a plastic mail bin.

For extra protection, if you're worried, wrap the magnets in another sheet of paper. Every little bit of distance from a metallic surface weakens their power by quite a bit.

If your afraid of the magnets sticking, try putting 10 card on each side of the magnets

I'm packaging them now so that a few of the cards will seperate the magnets from anything metallic. I just never gave it a thought when I sent out the first batch. I did a "will the envelope stick to the refrigerator" test and they don't stick, so everything should be fine now.

It's been more than a month since I submitted my info, and I havn't recieved my stuff yet. From your posts, it appears you sent them out Feb. 10th or 11th. Did anyone else get theirs? (maybe that batch was lost in the mail or something?)

Hmm. For the second time, it hasn't come. Maybe the mailman is getting a little to curious about my mail :D
