yea we locked the new puppy in the bathroom when we went to go see Lord of the Rings today. We got home and there was dog feces on every inch of the floor and the cabinets. Happy Holidays to me.

If it helps, after I posted that message I went to work and had what could possibly be the worst Christmas ever. It turned into a 12 hour day because of all the issues that occur since water and electricity don't mix. It’s definitely going to be a Christmas that will be hard to forget...although I'll certainly try. :wink:

Did I miss something?

I was stuck in the harbor tolls, and then little booth at the entrance to the shuttle area. My day was spent TRYING to stay dry.

Although we did have two trees come crashing down on the lion king tram loading zone. And a random emergency through the shuttle area.
~insert me going "oh sh**!!" when ambulences and firetrucks come racing through that sharp corner and then nearly plowing down the taxi drivers~

oh I know the feelings yesterday with all the rain and winds...we spent the last two days at three different family homes, of course yesterday being the real ordeal stuck on the 91 parking lot, then trying to sort gifts from a large box in the backseat - only to have them get soaked despite having plastic bags over all. After finally making it back home, I tried to be efficient and get a little laundry done...well, the outtake pipe sprung a leak. I was in the kitchen and thought I heard water running (hmmm...that shouldn't be...), turned on the light in the laundry room in time to see a gusher of water spewing accross the room with about 1/2 inch already on the floor. :shock: :bang: And Merry Christmas to all of YOU as well... :roll:

ummm...what happenned? (speaking as someone who is finally out of the cast and no longer has to stay on the sofa with the leg up and nothing better to do than watch t.v. all day long :wink: )

I'm now on day 8 of my recovery, and my right leg has swollen to nearly twice the size of my left. When I told Cast Health Services that I had a hot tub and asked, "How hot, how long, and how often?" the Disney Doctor replied, "I wouldn't know anything about that." Gaa, talk about inspiring confidence!

Yours reminds me a little of the situation our poor former A-lead at Mansion was in. He was part of a group of about 20 or so of us who was asked to come in early one morning to test live weight on a new winch-evac system on Pirates. After we'd been pulled up a few times and had been sent back into the ride for one more go-round, some damn fool in the control tower decided to stop the boat we were in above the pit on the ramp and told us to go ahead and get out there... (o.k., anyone in Anaheim who knows the ride system well and understands some of the reasons NO ONE is supposed to get out above the pit should have the hair on the backs of their necks standing up by now) This same said fool also had boats backed up bumper to bumper behind ours, thinking that this would negate the big danger. He put up the water gate so that the water wasn't going down the lift, but it was still wet. Most of us managed to hop over to the sloping wall next to the ramp, but our poor Mansion lead slipped onto the lift and grabbed one of the handrails on the boat. He caught himself, but considering that he was a tall, muscular guy, gravity worked and despite grabbing himself to keep from tumbling down the 10 or so feet of lift into the flume, his own weight allowed him to thump into the boat, breaking two ribs. The creeps in first aid assigned him to light duty after the initial incident, which involved stuffing envelopes in the old America sings building. The least they could have done was allowed him to have an entire paid sick leave at home so he could watch his favorite reruns on t.v. I'm sorry to see that Florida has a company quack too - our old-back-in-the-day Anaheim quack (Ligitt, long retired) used to stare at the walls before asking if you could manage to touch your toes before sending you back to duty :?
