LOL, I heard this story from my coordinator...
She got a radio call from Security control telling her to call a tie-line. She called it and it was DAK first aid. Apparently there was a woman who had visited HISTA two days prior and claims that the "chemicals" that were sprayed in her eyes have damaged them. When the DAK nurse asked my coordinator asked what they used she tells them it is only water. When the nurse asked the woman why she didn't go to Epcot First Aid she responded with "I didn't want to waste my time". The nurse says that the woman shows no signs of puffiness, irritation, or watering. She passed a vision test with flying colors. Finally the woman just insists on going to the hospital. I can't wait to see how far she gets...LOL!

I wonder if this gem will find something to rub into her eyes on the way to the hospital.

You just know that is going to wind up on "evil board x" entitled HISTA caused me to go blind but I can still see to post a complaint here cause they didnt foot my bill for my vacation when I bitched a month later
LOL Damn, maybe I should have waited until 2 days later to complain about falling on my fat ass at the AK lockers. (not my fault the floor was wet) Considering the suit that came up to me was visibly worried that I was going to sue or something. I missed my calling, I should have been a gold digger.
Kinda like the woman back when who tried to sue about a "brick" falling on her from Cindy's

Jeez, I wonder how they would react if, as a test of course, the nurse sprayed her with some OC!! Just to test to make sure that she is sensetive enough for treatment!!

Hmmmmmm, wonder if the Doctor will say it was "Dihydrogen Monoxide" Exposure and charge her for taking up $8,000 dollars in ER services:p:
(Look it up on Wikipedia)
Most likely the burning was from non-waterproof makeup, if anything. Don't you wear 3D eyeglasses during the show anyway aka "eye protection". Disney isn't liable if she took off her eye protection!:p:

And if she took off her "protective goggles", she prolly would start to develop a headache from viewing the 3d movie without the 3d glasses. At least thats what happens when I catch part of it above the 3d glasses because they can't be as close to my face because of my regular glasses.

Yeah, she probably forgot about the "Neurological Damage" from the resulting headache....

And then think of the chemicals. Due to constantly changing and sometimes contradictory emotional stimuli, the body is induced to release an alphabet soup of hormones into the body which may have undesirable effects due to unforseen chemical interactions.

I think it was the Leno show that did a bit about it. People were actually worried about contacting the stuff.(hehehe)
(Some may have ran away from it when they go to WDW!!)

It always amazes me when people come in asking for comps or something similar because they "got injured" in the parks, but when we explain that they need to be checked out by first aid first, they refuse. It's not because we don't trust them, honestly. It's because if they DID get injured, we need to know exactly how and how badly so we can look into fixing it. PLUS, it's for the guest so that if they DO end up taking legal action following an injury, there's a record of the guest being checked out before they left the park that day.
But NOOOOO, they were injured badly enough that they need to threaten legal action against Disneyland, but not badly enough to take 10 minutes to let a nurse check them out and give them an ice pack or some tylenol. Amazing.

That because they would be faced with the "caught in a lie" syndrome that causes the face to go red!!

I just cannot stop laughing about this. Probably because I just know I am going to see it up there.
