If they are unused hoppers and the seller hasnt had fingerprint scans would there still be a problem? Wouldnt they be useable by anyone? I know if they are hoppers with days used there will be a problem, I'm not familier with the one day one park tickets, I always use hoppers, or my AP at DL. The sellers description isnt very good and its a bit hard to understand, must be because hes writing in Canadian or something, he calls them 6 day tickets but says you get 12 days at Disney. Of course I'm no expert on WDW entry media and always just book park hoppers for the days I'm staying. I would never try to save a dime buying someone elses tickets, new or used online, good way to get scammed or have problems like its been stated. I did see some people get turned away because the tickets they were trying to use were no good, it sounded like they had used all their days and thought they still had some left.

I'm guessing that they are park hoppers with water parks and more but I'm not really sure that they are hoppers. Never said that they are unused. Anyone that bids on these is a complete fool.

Disney states right on the ticket that admission media is non transferable, therefore legally one cannot sell them.

Why would anyone risk an expensive vacation on media purchased on ebay.

The only help that one would get from Disney if these tickets turn out to be partially or completely used it to ask "cash or charge" for new media.

Somebody should notify eBay of this obvious scam before some innocent soul gets ripped off. I'm thinking of the post about the CM who stayed overtime looking up how much time was left on old tickets and selling them--Busted!

Well, I hope that someone from Disney legal see it and stops that auction.

Now, I want to see them used on Pirates and Haunted Mansion. Accepted in other parks........Riiiiight!

You just volunteered. I would not doubt that Disney is on this matter but they have been known to mess up.

I just cant see risking a bad experience on my well planned out vacation to try and "save" a few bucks on something like this. We booked WDW for Nov 10 to 17 and after about 5 or 6 days park entry is cheap, like $10 or $12 per day, hoppers, I'm not interested in the other stuff myself. The re-entry passes, thats pretty wrong, if you got them and deserve them fine, but to buy them, your a fool. People will try anything, this goes along with my thread on counterfeit fastpasses, are these real? Someone should report to ebay these are prohibited items for re-sale. I dont work for Disney so I cant say for sure, I know when I find people doing stuff like this with AAA, usually on craiglist I report it to AAA and they act on it. I noticed on the tickes the buyer ID's are blocked so its not like someone can email the buyers and warn them. Maybe one of you needs to report it to someone at Disney so they can act on it. I know Disney has involvements with ebay also so ill bet they can get it taken care of fairly quickly.

They've been selling FPs, re-entry tickets, etc. on Ebay for months now, and they go for hundreds of dollars for a set! Like an average for $10 to $30 per FP!! Someone even tried to see a GAC...I think they called it a "renewable FP" and were asking several hundred $$ for it. I'm really surprised that WDW hasn't cracked down on the rampant FP and re-entry sales. Does it really cover the seller to say that the auction is for a plain white envelope and that the rest is a "gift?"

I emailed ebay control, gave them the item number and explained the Non-transferable thing to them. We shall see what they do. The bid is up over $1600.00 now, of course it is just as likely that someone will just NOT pay the fool for them. That happens there a lot. I am not sure what ebay but they know now...

EBay won't do anything unless it's Disney themselves that contact them.

I just looked, and it ended at $1,875.00. I really feel for the 'winning' bidder should these in fact turn out to be used and expired tickets

Sorry, I don't feel a thing.

If you were dumb enough to bid on this auction with the feedback of the seller and the lack of accurate info then you get what you get.

As I said before, Why would one risk their vacation on unknown admission media????

$1875.00, thats insane, do they consider this a good deal? We booked for Nov, 7 days at the parks with dining, Pop Century and hoppers for less that $2400.00 for three of us. They should have checked the Disney website for a better deal, this is just tickets they got and they might not even work. They still have to pary for a room and food.

I think you could slap the word "Disney" on an auction for dog turds, and you'd be able to get $100 as long as you said they were direct from Pluto's butt.

I've found eBay generally takes a "ho-hum, oh really?" stance towards bogus deals like this. If I were inclined to be positive towards them, I'd excuse it because of the volume of transactions they process. But honestly, I think it's more because they get a percentage of the proceeds.

If these are legitimate, the total gate price would be $ 4,402.71.

Reading the ad carefully, it appears that all tickets are six-day with the Hopper, WPF&M and No Expire options. There are six each adult and child.

And my price quote above includes tax.

6 Adult @ $ 208
6 Child @ $ 171
12 Hopper @ $45
12 WPF&M @ $50
12 No Expire (Six Day) @ $60
Sales Tax at 6.5%

Years ago I saw Disney CM charactor costumes on ebay.
a pluto, a donald, a minnie and a mickey were for sale, complete with heads, hands and feet plus extra stuff. I called Disney and they said they got like 200 calls about them so far. and 15 mins later the auction was pulled.
funny conversation with them too, I said, hello, do you know someone on ebay is selling Disney costumes? they said, it's ok, a lot gets sold on there all the time, so I said, NO, I mean Disney's "Private" in house only costumes.
this phrase did get thier attention fast. after I heard a lot of commotion in the background they said, it's been reported and thank you very much.
I guess since I didn't use the proper term for the in house costumes it didn't register with them the first time. hmm, I wonder what the proper term is for
them. I bet they watch ebay like a hawk now.
maybe code words next time, like, the mouse is out if the house.

Yes, Disney does watch Ebay and many other sites. I belong to various VMK boards and knew of three staff members on the board, one was top secret. They do have people checkin the boards and auctions as well as Amazon and other sales sites. Disney loses a lot of money due to counterfeit merchandise and does not like stuff stolen from them let alone stolen and resold.
