I just returned from my Disney vacation and wanted to thank all of the cast members, servers and all other employees. It was a fantastic trip and everyone was so nice and helpful. Hopefully I didn't ask too many dumb questions :p
Unfortunately I did get caught up in the Brazilian frenzy on Friday (Jan 26) at MGM and the next day at Animal Kingdom. At Fantasmic they were clapping and singing. Then starting chanting Brazil. They started the wave and then couldn't stop it. Very frustrating but at least there were no cheerleaders.

...with SAPs and they headed down the exit instead of the SAP entrance and they ECVed their way onto the parade route and effectively stopped the whole parade.....

...trying to get over to peter pan where they will squeeze the rest of their party through the standby queue looking for the 3 people they have holding their spot in line.

And asking if the monorail runs to Universal....while climbing on a wall and confusing the Magic Kingdom with WDW? (Don't know how they could climb on a wall with an ECV, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone had tried.)

i just wanted to say thank you to all of the WDW castmembers. i have had a few instances where the CM were most helpful. we were there in 2004 thru the Make a Wish foundation. my daughter is a wish child. everyone in the park was considerate and accommodating. on another visit my son who was 6 fell and cut his knee. i couldn't find the first aid station, and a CM in the innoventions walked me and carried my son on his back to the first aid station. i was only sorry i didn't get his name to write a complimentary letter. while on our most recent visit we went to the halloween party at MK we were guided to a wheelchair area (my daughter uses one) and many guests tried to situate themselves in this area who were not in chairs. the CM were always on top of that. once again, THANK YOU , you all have to put up with a lot of BS from people and your stories and comments are a great way to vent. and in the tradition of disney, HAVE A MAGICAL DAY.

About 80% of the Brazilian visitors I've encountered were FOOLS.
About 90% of the Hispanic visitors I've encountered were FOOLS.
About 100% of the French speaking visitors I've encountered were FOOLS.
No problems with other visitors except these TERRIBLE THREE!

I want to add my BIG thank you to all the cast members at WDW. We have been going to WDW since 1982 and in all that time, we have only encountered maybe 3 CM that were rude or less than helpful.
This past December was my first time using a wheelchair. I must say that all CM were so kind and helpful. Always willing to help me and always with a smile.
Just a little funny story here that happened at TOT. My husband wheeled me right up to the door and I got out and used my cane to get in the ride. The kind CM asked if he could give me assistance and gave me his arm. That was so sweet and very much appreciated. He took my cane and it was waiting for me at the end. As I was getting into my wheelchair, I was stopped by two young men who were on the ride with me. The congratulated me and said I did great! LOL I guess they thought since I am handicapped I would freak out on the drops or something. I may be old and handicapped, but I am definitely NOT dead. :D:
