Sometimes I don't even want to know what goes on in some guest's minds. Yesterday I had a guest come up to my wagon and the following conversation occured:
Me: Hi there, what can I get for you?
Guest: Pop
Me: What kind of soda would you like? <points at beverage display>
Guest: <stares at beverage display> what kinds do you have?
Me: Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite
Guest: I'll have a bottled water
Now, I know that there is such a thing as soda water...but since when has regular bottled water been classified as a soda? Best part about it was that the exact same thing happened later in the day with a different person.

Could be. It was still rather funny to me at the time. It combined a few not-so-smart things that a lot of guests do (ex: asking for a drink without telling me what kind, staring right at the beverages that I offer and still asking "what do you have") and then ultimately ordering something that was not what he originaly asked for. Most of the time I don't mind it, but this one just stood out.
Of course, it's not half as bad as the people who order a Coke and a churro and then after you handed them everything insist they never asked for a Coke but asked for a water instead. Changing your order is fine, blaming me for not knowing that in your world Coke means water is a different story.

You should see the havoc caused at KBF. I've seen people argue with foods people because they sell Pepsi now instead of Coke. Its quite sad. Its only a drink. But I guess its some people's lives...

Working at Disneyland is fun, but don't plan on it for a career. It's perfect for when you're going to college. They work around your school schedule (a lot better than most employers), and by the time you graduate college, you're sick of working at Disneyland - but by then you have a degree and can get the job you really want. It works both ways.
It didn't work that way for me. I went in thinking I'd stay at Disney forever, but was put off by what I saw going on in management. And I didn't want to be a ride operator forever...
Luckily, I got out. My brother handed me a career. :D

That makes me laugh. We're a split household. I can't stand the taste of Coke - I think it's too bitter, and my husband thinks Pepsi is too sweet. But if we're in a restaurant we know one is going to be happy and the other one isn't, but we don't argue with the servers...please. Just shut up and take what they're offering!
